Water Women Exhibition
A collective exhibition of wahine surf and ocean culture. Nine amazing artists, illustrators and photographers showed their work at the Allpress Studio, Auckland. 8-18 December 2020, with an opening night mingle to kick it off!
With our lovely partners Deep Creek Brewing providing beverages for our opening night mingle, we were able to sell exclusive prints and merch at a spectacular opening night. As our first big event we were absolutely stoked with the turn out, support and positive feedback we had from the event.
Our amazing artists came from across Aotearoa, and are just a glimpse of the amazing talent we have in the wahine of this country. We represented a mix of professional and amateur practitioners- for some artists it was their first exhibition. We are passionate about creating access and a platform for our talent! Exhibiting as a collective creates opportunities for the individuals and showcases the depth and breadth of our community.
